I went on Gamespot yesterday and saw an advert to get a key for the Sneak Peak of Matrix Online! I got one becuase I was a member of Gamespot basic (free account).
Then I got the installer, and I started to download the game. Guess how big it is...
7gb!!! It took the whole day to download, but I've tried it now and it is so cool! There is a huge city, and you can interact with all the people there, and go into every building!

cool, is it a free trial or something cos u have to pay for the actual game (monthly) , how long did it take to download?

It's a sneak peak of the full version, i get it for three days free. You can't get keys anymore I don't think, so you'll have to buy it if you want to play. It took the whole day to download,

Nah im not gonna buy it, cos its online therfore you will have to pay monthly like world of warcraft. There is also another matrix game thats coming out called 'The matrix: path of neo' or something like that and its not just online so I might get it if it's good.

I'm not sure if you have to pay to play. I looked in the shop and it was $49.99, and I couldn't see anything about paying to play. But I may be wrong.
When's the next Matrix game that you mentioned coming out? It would be pretty good, but the reason Matrix Online is so cool is because it's one of those Massively Multiplayer Online games, where you actually play with real people, which makes it seem slightly more worthwhile

Yeah, I heard about that other Matrix game and it sounded pretty cool because you finally get to be Neo I think! The Matrix online beta is cool and I might buy the full version later after its been out for a bit.

But, with CSS people create their own servers (there are no official servers), so there is not much running cost. However, for Matrix online or WoW, the company have to create their own huge servers, and keep them running, which I believe is what you are paying for.

you do have to pay, its like wow and everquest, all mmo games need to pay to play, yeh and the neo matrix game was quite recent news so it might be a while till it comes out, should be good, definatly better than enter the matrix  .

thats as bad as world of warcraft, they are horrible they tantilise you with great ganmes and then stick a **** huge price tag on it and say you have to pay evry month *rant over* it just gets me so annoyed  |
