Yeah so I think the reason I only once landed a front flip is because I had been playing football just before it, so my muscles were stretched and my heard was beating faster.

So everyone should probably read this article about warming up as I'm pretty sure it will help with free running.

However, that guide has nothing about which stretches you should do, so if anyone has any links to info about that please post it.

Yeah warming up and stretching is very important, I don't do much stetching though, and I'm going to start stretching more before I try more stunts/tricks, but I do warm up and that article is right about how important it is to warm up and prepare.

to quote one of the most 'physical' players in football, roy keane:

"if you fail to prepare, prepare to fail"

But does anyone have an article on how to stretch all of the important muscles?

Edit I just found out today how useful warming up really is... there's this ceiling in one of my rooms i always try jumping up to reach, but I never quite make it, then today i did my exercises but did some jogging before to warm up, and then in the middle i tried jumping and i reached the ceiling!

I am extremely annnoyed because I had a very long list of exercises and how to do them complete with illustraions that I made, which I lost when I accidentally closed the wrong window. Sad but I swear the pictures were good, like this one:

......o..... ....o__.. .__o.................
..._/|\.... .._/\...... .....|..-->..__o...
....../\_... ..../.\.... ..../...-->...._|...
......\...... ...|....\.. ....\............\.....
Running Lunges Squats

Tell me what you think of them and I might redo the article, and draw them again

Those pics are really good... it's a pity it got lost Sad. To make them clearer you could put

Code:
[color=white][/color]

around the dots so they blend in with the background. Or it might save time if you draw them in paint and upload somewhere.

And, if you do get a chance to post about the exercises again, it would be useful if you created a new topic for them and made it a sticky (option to make it sticky is in the options below where you type the post)
