1) No spam. This includes (among other things): gibberish, useless information, many smilies, and links to non-related websites.

2) No flaming or trolling. That means don't say things that may offend anyone, especially direct or indirect threats, or things of that nature. Do not instigate arguments. "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all."

3) Signatures are limited to having a width of 550 pixels and a height of 300 pixels. This pertains to both images and text.

4) Avatars are limited to being 100 pixels by 100 pixels.

5) Swearing - if you want to swear, just swear - spell the word correctly and don't bother about *'ing it out, because the forums do that for you. And in the next version of phpBB, there will be the option in your user control panel to turn off the filter, if you think you can handle swearing

6) Signatures

OK, basically the limit for the whole of your sig is 550 pixels wide by 200 pixels tall (approximately), so if you want you could have ten small pictures, as long as they are less than 200 pixels tall. And no image should be more than 550 pixels wide.

If you need to check if you sig fits the limits, do this:

• Press Alt+Printscreen while looking at your sig
  
• Open up MS Paint
  
• Press control+V
  
• Using the marquee (selection) tool, drag a square from the top left of your sig to the bottom right.
  
• While you are still holding the mouse down, read the number in the bottom right of Paint.
  
• This number is the width then height of your signature. It must be less than 550x200
