The reason we go on custom maps is because its more fun, and we're playing for fun at the moment Razz.

Also, it usually ends up being 2 on 2 or something. 2 on 2 is better on smaller maps like iceworld or officemini because it's smaller, so rounds are quicker, which means less dead spectating time, and it gives you lots more opportunity to practice aiming, reactions, weapon usage etc. I prefer the small custom maps too. Because I don't like having to slowly sneak round every corner of a huge map, checking every direction for snipers. Because usually I'll just run around the map looking for someone, then get shot from behind. Small maps are more fun because it is just straight action

This clan can't really be a proper clan which has 'wars' with other clans, because it is made up of my people I know and people who go on the forums. So I'm not picking out good people. For example, terroramanga hadn't ever played a PC FPS before CSS, but because he's my friend he's in the clan. Even if on a server a random person who was really good came and asked if he could join the DOTA clan, I wouldn't let him, because I don't know him Wink

We can just play with each other for fun (like we already are), or all join a public server and all side onto one team and play the rest (like we did on italy once), or even against other clans for fun, but none of those ladder competition things Razz Smile

Yer, A tournament, 1v1 or 2v2 or summit (Depending on hw many people play). That would be pretty fun.

I hosted some people today and they got a ping of 100ish, so it seems it wouldn't be too bad for me to host..especially if no one else is online Wink

When you host a game I think it's to do with your upload speed, and most people with broadband have a low upload speed, so it won't be that different from your upload speed.

When people first joined, their ping was 600ish, but then it went down to 100, even when Steve joined it didn't rise. Anyway, I can host now, so it should be more fun Smile The only bummer is that I have an ever-changing IP, so you guys have to ask me every tim Shocked
