The last ones happened at around May, so we might have some more this May (ask Das Mole - he'll organise them). We have lots of new people this year too, so it will probably be different people winning the awards.

But some people might be bored of them... (like cobainfish Wink

Oh. *Phew*

When I saw the title thread, I was like "what?!!" and I was gonna tell you off b/c I thought you were gonna try to run them, lol. Anyway...

The DOTA Award process begins at the beginning of May, here's how it goes down:

May 1-May 14
OPEN NOMINATIONS- You choose up to three people for each provided category that you would like to see get nominated to win the award. The three people with the most amount of votes then actually get nominated for the award.

May 14-21
VOTING- Polls open in the awards forum, I post a certain amount every day. You have 4 days to vote on each award. When the poll for an award gets closed, I state the winner, an award is made.

May 22
AWARDS- The awards are actually given out. Someone (the artist) will post a thread that contains the awards inside, and you can take them and prize them for all eternity.

I had been planning to do them bi-annually, but that would be too much. Plus, the names of awards would be like "Best User of the Past 6 Months" instead of "of the Year", so, you know. So yeah. On probably April 25th or something, I'll post a thread asking for people to join the awards committee. I would need an artist, and maybe a few other people as well.

So, yeah. Smile
