Digipix Studios. Or DPS or DP for short. All the others sound good too though. I just think it should end with Studios for some reason, I think it has a ring to it. My opinion though.

Wow, that's a really nice name. I searched for it on google, and only 4 results, which aren't really major. I'll look into getting a company name, and definetly try for that one Smile

ooh! i have a good one...kinda...

how about "L'ORigami productions"...

the "L'OR" for gold ("l'or" in french means gold, for those of you that didn't know that)...b/c everything we make is golden, and the "ORigami" part b/c we can make anything...just like with origami, you can make anything out of a tiny little piece of paper.

i know it doesn't sound cool...but at least it's original *shrug*

You'll get better, Razz. J/k, It is origional but it doesnt have that aura or ring to it that the company needs. And im sure some people wount know the gold thing and they'll be like Confused .

That's origional and should work - but maybe without the 3 letter capitalisation, because that makes it hard to remember... but that's a good name, but it isn't really as catchy as Digipix...

Yeah it's good, I'll probably use it. If you get really picky the only 2 problems I can think of are:

  • It sounds like it could be a photography company or something
  • When you are telling it to people in real life you'd have to say "It's digipix.com with an x"

But those shouldn't matter Razz

Hmm, company names.

Wooden Tramp Inc.
Liquid Helium
Plastic Spoon

Generally any random 2 words strung together sound good, those are just suggestions.

Hello. I'm... a norwegian (man, what a lame intro).

I was just browsing around when I found "Day of the Aliens" website. I must say, it intrigues me.

But waitaminute, why am I posting this here? Oh, yeah, I just thought about ideas for game company names, so that I can help you a bit. You may laugh if you like, I'm just tossing some ideas around.

Here's the ideas:

HeadThink Inc. (...ummm, yeah)
Very Happy (what, smileys can be company names! Right?)
JaGam (short for James*Games)
YSAHJ (acronym for "You Shall All Hail James, MWUAHAHAHAHAHA"... okay, I added that last part)
LostArts Games (meh)
BLARGH (no, it's not an acronym, it's a random idea)
Alien Team (just because you might not make more games with alians, doesn't mean you can't use them as a logo, right?)

Well, hope I've helped a bit. If not, you may laugh at my expense. Loud.

Okay.. not THAT loud.

Hi Electron, thanks for the ideas Smile.

I especially like the "YSAHJ (acronym for "You Shall All Hail James")" idea, I'll have to carry out a poll for that one Razz.

By the way, I asked on some adventure developing forums about the legal side of getting a company name, and I got a lot of answers but they were mainly about in America and stuff. Hopefully I'll find out the answer soon.

We hope you register and join in with the community Wink
