okay. well, this is the thread where you can share with us everything about your profile!! here's what you do (and you don't have to do all of them, esp. if you can't due to lack of some of these)-

-explain your username and where you came up w/it, if you did. i understand that if you're james or steve or pete or anyone like that, it's your name.
-explain your custom title if you have one and why you made it that.
-explain your avatar, why you chose it, if you made it, how you came up w/it if you did make it, etc.
-explain your sig image(s) and why you put them there, etc.
-explain writing in your sig
-your location, if it's creative or something
-uh, anything else you'd like to share about your profile (the stuff that shows up on every post)

here's my stuff:
username: das mole. i got this from the show "celebrity mole hawaii", on one game they did where they were on a submarine. it was underwater charades. anywho, as the submarine was submerging it said "operation das mole ready to commence" and the submarine went underwater. i wanted my name to have something to do w/the mole, so i thought "hey, that das mole thing sounded pretty cool" so i made it that. das mole was originally for lucasforums and then it came here. every forum i register at, i'm das mole or das_mole or dasmole or something. nothing else would fit. and, (sorry if this is getting too long) thanks to the help of a fellow lucasforum-er, alien426 (i think, not sure about the number order), helped me understand where "das mole" really came from and we found out that there was a movie called "das boot" and they took that and put it in the show, but called it "das mole" instead, because it was the mole. it took us forever, but we (actually, more of he) solved the mystery of my username. interesting little story, huh?
custom title: "the richest one". because i have the most points. on hand. obviously, some people had way more money than me due to their inventories, however, as in terms of points on hand, i'm the richest
avatar: made it for lucasforums, and it's my "i-drew-it-all-by-myself-using-ms-paint" avatar. it's a thumbprint, like they use on the show "the mole" and they give you a red screen w/a thumbprint if you get executed, and a green thumbprint if you're safe. so i put them both in. the green thumbprint actually has a green background and black thumbprint on the show, but i thought it looked better as a white thumbprint.
sig images: the moderator and developer ones, james said to put in our sigs, so i did (for the moderators and developers, obviously), and the other image i just put in. it's a little dota logo that i created and i used it in my idea for the t-shirt contest, that would be the logo on the front of the shirt, and on the back there'd be other stuff. but i colored it in w/my colors (red and green) and put it on a blue background (blue's my favorite color). and no, i'm not the one person w/the red and green background, even though you may think it's me. i tried it for a few minutes and decided it looked horrible and went back to the safe aqua background
writing in my sig: just a reminder to vote for the dota awards. only 22 hours!
location: nothing interesting.
extra: uh, i don't think there's anything else.

*phew* alright, i'm done telling you little stories about me. i think i'll become a kindergarten teacher so i can tell my students stories all day. i love telling interesting little stories. i don't know why, though.

And some stuff I'm making too but not for DOTA: A birthday-picture for someone I know, another avatar, an avatar for MSN Messenger, wallpapers, ...

Well, i was just gonna put "Game Maker", but then i realised that that was too boring on it's own. People like names that begin with something like "ultra" or "super", so i put "super game maker"

There are really 3 main things i like to put my avatar about, because they are the things related with computer i like most:

• Grim Fandango
  
• Half Life 2
  
• DOTA
  

And at the moment it is the G-Man from Half Life 2, because I just watched the new 30 minute E3 movie from fileplanet. It took me 9 hours to download (5 of those in que, and the other 4 getting the 747mb file), but it was worth it. It was amazing. The story is so in depth, the atmosphere is great, the graphics rule, the people are so realistic, and the physics are the best ever. So anyway, i chose teh g-man because he looks cool, and I am the forum admin, so it kind of suits me.

The thing that says about my computer is there because the people who host me have a new project called J-Sig, which gets you a signature telling people about your pc and stuff, and it is so cool.

I remembered the LucasArts 20th anniversary stuff and went back there and watched http://www.lucasarts.com/20th/logo320.htm, and thought it was a really good movie, so i just took some screenshots from the beginning of it, and put them into my avatar.

I made this matrix sig image just recently because Steve had this matrix display pic on MSN, then i remembered ages ago this guy sent me a bacground so i could do an animated matrix sig image, but i never got round to it. But then i did it because i was bored.

And I needed something to put to the side, so i put manny from my favourite game, and i think that is a really good pic of him. I'm addicted to that pic now
