**ATTENTION**
if you will not be able to keep playing this game for potentially a month or two, then you can sign up, but if you do not reply to a challenge, you will automatically be kicked out. you will receive one fourth of the points you earn for coming in whatever place you come in. however, it is necessary that you be available when we are down to the final two, so you can vote for a winner.

okay. this is going to be survivor, basically...so these are the basic rules and guidelines, for those of you that are unfamiliar with this game:

*note* i will give an example of a player's gameplay to show how points are factored into your grand total.

reward challenges
this game is almost exactly like the tv show, including all the challenges. reward challenges will basically be challenges that earn you little bonus points. winning a reward challenge gets you 10 bonus points, maybe another amount depending on the challenge.

immunity challenges
immunity saves you from being voted out, and nobody can vote for you during tribal council when you have immunity. you also earn yourself 5 points for every immunity you win.

tribal council
when i announce a tribal council, you will be given two days to vote for the person that you want to leave. you cannot vote for the person that has immunity. you lose 2 points from your total prize money for every vote against you by the time you are voted out (or by the time you win). not getting a vote in the final tribal council does not count against you. in the final tribal council (when the jury votes), you get 4 points added to your total prize money for every vote you get to win.

if....
-you do not complete a challenge in the given amount of time (probably one or two days), then you will not win any points (obviously).
-you do not vote at a tribal council, then you will be the person that is automatically kicked out. if this applies to more than one person in the same tribal council, then whichever person received more votes will be kicked out. if both have the same amount of votes, both will be kicked out of the game.
-you do not answer to two or more challenges, you will automatically be eliminated at the next tribal council. basically, you only get one chance to miss a competition.

prizes
obviously, the total amounts will vary for everyone depending on reward challenges, voting, basically everything. but here are the base prize monies for every place.

winner- 150 points
2nd place- 100 points
3rd place- 80 points
4th place- 70 points
5th place- 60 points
6th place- 50 points
7th place- 40 points

etc., going down in increments of ten. as you can see, it could be possible that the person in 4th place could earn more points than the person in 3rd place. those points are just base prize money that get points added and subtracted from them.

an example
okay, here we go. i'm gonna give one example (maybe two) of a player's gameplay and how they did. so let's say there were 7 people playing. so joe (the player) wins reward challenges in weeks 2 and 4. one was worth 10 and one was worth 8. he won immunity in week 5, so he gets 5 points. he only had 4 total votes against him- 2 in week 1, 1 in week 2, and 1 in week 4. he came in second place, and he had 2 votes cast for him to win.

reward challenges: +18 points
immunity challenges: +5 points
votes against: -8 points
finishing place: 100 points
votes to win: +8 points

so joe would win a total of 123 points. so it's a nice way to earn yourself a nice amount of points Smile

any takers?

if you will not be able to keep playing this game for potentially a month or two, then PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP. this game will require the need to stay with it for a while. i've done these kinds of games before, and people have signed up and then not been able to participate all the way to the end...you also need to be able to check here at least once every two days...so...yeah.

well, okay. i'll take away that part. b/c then i guess if you just don't reply to a challenge on time, you're automatically booted anyway...so, just forget about that part. of course, you won't get any points if you're automatically booted. actually, i take that back. if you're automatically booted, you get one fourth of the points you would've normally earned by coming in a certain place. so if you're automatically kicked out and you come in fifth b/c of that, you'll still get 15 points, which isn't bad. at least it's better than nothing.

okay. so now i've got four people. i need at least three more, but 5 more would be really nice. perhaps a little too idealistic for the amount of people on the forums as of now...but whatever. i just need three more people.

btw- i changed the *attention* in my first post- if you are automatically eliminated, you get 1/4 of the points that you earned. so, at least you get something no matter what.

you can use them to buy things like custom titles, or a color for your username and little effects. you can also use them to buy items if you'd like, although items are useless, unless you'd like to show off that you had the money to buy the things that you bought.

sweet. five.

in theory, i could make the game work with five people, or any odd number higher than that, as a matter of fact. however, if i have this game be played with only five people, then i'm afraid the final vote will not be divided up enough or anything like that...

I'll pass, but, monkey_05_06 (nicking my species Razz), the game can't go on cooly, because of the lack of points systems Razz.
