Ok i just oredered Hl2 and i have a few Q's i need aswering.
1) Can i use my microphone/headset thing while playing CS:source?
2) Do i still use the same thing to get onto it (via steam)
3) If i buy HL2 from amazon, do i get CS:source free?
4) In clan matches are you allowed spectators? If so, can they use the microphones?

Spectators can use microphones, but no one apart from dead people can hear them, or other spectators, I think. I ordered HL2 from Amazon, and everything comes with it

Yes, but MSN lags and can't be used full screen. Xfire is small (so you can read while playing, and not getting distracted), and non-laggy (my ping actually got better, not worse), and cool

I think thats called cheating, Im sure we don't need to cheat in clanmatches and we're not suppose to take it seriously in the first place so why do we even want to cheat. Anyway don't cheat

Cheating is bad. It ruins the fun. Most proper clan matches have it so the screen fades to black when you die so you can't cheat like that anyway. (and no spectators)

Exactly, cheating camping (and maybe sniping) just make counterstrike source soo lame, i mean for eg. you're on a killing spree, you have an adrenaline rush, only one person left, you walk forwards...boom someone shot you from behind, someone who was camping..and /or, new round started yay lets kill somepeople, you jump down to the platform below, bang a camper or sniper shoots u, aw...., u have to wait till the next round before you can start again  Yeh so u get what I mean. Anyway the person, camping, sniping or cheating wouldnt feel any good about it because its not that hard to kill someone and they didn't actually try very hard. The only reason why we play is to have fun and not be a bad loser

I didn't mean use that during clanwars, I was just giving some examples of programs you could use. I don't like cheating either

Yeh everyone goes off topic. BTW, Michaelz, though i agree with you that camping is a kind of cheating, i disagree about the sniping part. If it weren't for snipers, the game would be too easy and much more boring

I don't really mind the scout snipers but the magnum sniper rifle really **** me off cos the magnum is one hit and you die which is soo annoying
