Me and James are going to start filming our first parkour video after our exams in a week or two's time, and this is some of the music we're considering using, as usual, tell us what you think.

Fade Out/In - Paloalto
Daydream in Blue - Imonster
Return of Tres - Delinquent Habits
Spitting Games - Snow Patrol
Faint - Linkin Park
Reptillia - The Strokes
Processed Beats - Kasabian
Defy You - Offspring
Can't Repeat - The Offspring
Praise You - Fatboy Slim
Breathe - Prodigy
Spitfire - Prodigy

I will add more songs as I think of them

Out of that list I'd say Daydream in Blue and Return of the Tres are best.

When I made diabolo videos and watched a load here are some of the best songs I remember of the top of my head. Diabolo videos are kind of a similar style to parkour, so they might be useful:

Break on Through - The Doors
Girls and Boys - Blur
Feel Good Inc - Gorillaz
96 Quite Bitter Beings - CKY
California Uber Alles - Dead Kennedys
I Hope You Die - Bloodhound Gang
Going out of my Head - Fatboy Slim
Tiny Explosions - Presidents of the USA
Love Everybody - Presidents of the USA
Every Day I Love You Less and Less - Kaiser Chiefs
Helicopter - Bloc Party

By the way we should spend the first 2/3 of the holiday practicing with crashmats then grass, and then film in the last section once we have mad skills Razz

Or how about Clubbed to Death - Rob Dougan Very Happy? Every other parkour video uses it Razz

Song 2 - Blur maybe... but it's not very original.

Perhaps:

'Firestarter' - Prodigy
'Juicebox' - Strokes
'Cubicle (Edit)' - Rinocerose
'Crazy Beat' - Blur

Also, a non-rock famous song that came out a couple of years ago with the main words as 'Rockin' Beats', but I don't know if that is the title or who it was by. It would kinda be perfect for the mood we are trying to acheive.

From a google search I'm guessing you might mean 'Block Rockin Beats - Chemical Brothers'...?

Also why didn't you log in to post? (I edited all your posts though so they were on your account). Did you forget your password? There is a forgotten password retrieval feature you know Razz

I just got confused with something ... sorry, Steve

Yeah, 'Block Rockin Beats' - Chemical Brothers

I can't believe I never knew it was the Chemical Brothers ... wow ... I don't know them at all, really ... maybe we could use 'The Boxer' - Chemical Brothers ... maybe

I'm more a "rock" kind of guy so I was thinking
Fuel - Metallica
BYOB - System of a Down
Jet pilot - System of a Down
and maybe
Battery - Metallica
Master of Puppets - Metallica?

Yeah.. I don't know that either.
Anyway I was thinking maybe
Cure for the Itch or Session, both by Linkin Park but there's no singing in it..

Probably any song listed here is good for the video. I would probably be happy with any. No singing (or singing kept to a minimum) is probably quite good for this. Just to add another, perhaps:

Lost and Found - Feeder

Other suggeastions are probably easily good enough, though.

I have linkin park's three albums and maybe we could use faint by them?

I really like the song fade out/in by paloalto, and I really want to use it, the 30 second preview on Itunes isn't that good. Lost and found is a great song by feeder so is shatter so listen to both and tell me what you think. Firestarter by Prodigy has an epic drumtrack so that's a good one. Some mellow ones that we could use are daydream in blue by imonster and hayling by fc kahuna.

The music in World's Best Trickers volumes 1-3 is pretty good. They all have no lyrics. Does anyone know what the songs are?

No, I don't.

How many songs do we need? If we keep adding more and more songs, then it will be almost impossible to decide which one(s) to pick.

I like Theo's deciding skills. He seems to be making decent decisions.

Well we don't need to make a decision yet as we need to be a lot better before we make a video Wink. We should probably start filming nearer the end of the summer holidays (by then I'm planning on being able to do a load of tricks Razz).

However, if I had to choose now I'd say either Daydream in Blue or Return of the Tres.
