I just palyed FIFA 2004, and the crowd is terrible compared to NHL 2004:
FIFA 2004
Crowd are all just animated 2D people. Ad if the camera goes side on they go invisible.
NHL 2004
The WHOLE cowd are 3D and move.

i do agree wioth u James i have played Fifa 2004 and the crowd are so unrealsitic. I have got NHL 2004 and the crowd are so good. Fifa 2004 is so terrible.

Who cares about names and kits when the gameplay on FIFA is rubbish? 
BTW, I use a patch (I burn onto a CD-R) to play my Pro Evo 3 so I have licensed kits, boots, chants, stadia and the like.
