next DOTA awards!

Oh cool, have you guys thought off instead of jus giving the awards out which no one sees maybe you could have something next to the avatar or under the sig.

Hey Das Mole do you have a new name for these awards? I'll create a sub-forum in preperation. The first ones were called "The first DOTA awards", do you have a name for these ones?

Hmm...I dunno. I'll probably have to come up w/a theme for the year. And like you could put it as the forum description. It would be "The Second Annual DOTA Awards", with like some subtitle. Like you know the books "A Series of Unfortunate Events", and then it's like "A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning", well, we could do that w/the awards, and have it be like "The Second Annual DOTA Awards: *Something*" I dunno. This is why I need people to help. I need a creative thinker person, I need an artist to do the awards...so yeah.

I think this year, I'm gonna have people send their votes to me so that you can't really tell who's going to win. I'll have people send their noms in to me as well. I mean, I wouldn't change them. I'm not that kind of person. And then I could release the names of the nominees and then everybody sends in the list of their votes to me. And then I make a big awards show thing. I can make a thread and have it be like people are walking down the red carpet or whatever.

I don't know. I've got 3 months to come up w/stuff, so...yeah.

You know, I was just thinking about what I wanted the awards to look like this year...I think they should have that kind of 3d look like those pre-made smilie avatars...where they look kinda spherical. Except maybe it could be in like an oval instead of a circle or something....I dunno. I think that would look nice....but I'm not gonna start preparing it until probably end of March-early April.
