Hehe. I know this. Some substitute teacher told it to us when I was 8 or something:

He was a dwarf, and he couldn't reach the elevator buttons - but on rainy days he had an umbrella and he used that to press the buttons.

even if you've never read a single latin word in your life, you should no trouble reading this poem:

yes, steve got it! good job. the first time i saw it i was so confused and then i just tried reading it out loud again and again until i got it. that's probably one of the toughest ones i can give you...lemme get another one...uh...okay, i got it. this one's a pretty popular one, so you may have heard it. i've heard it a few times.

there's a man laying dead in a room with 53 bicycles laying on top of him. how did he die?

a2-a2 = a2-a2
a(a-a) = (a-a)(a+a) / devide by (a-a)
a = a+a
a = 2a / devide by a
1 = 2

The thing is that I started from aČ-aČ=aČ-aČ (0=0) and prooved to you that 1 = 2, right? Wink
