okay. so here's the rule (for this time and the next and the next, etc.)...

you can win an award only if there are two or more nominations, however if there are two nominations, the person with more nomination votes wins the award. three or more, nominees will be chosen and voted on.

okay?

and so now i think i'll start making the award threads.

from now on, if an award doesn't get more than two nominees, it will be eliminated and the award won't be given out. less than two nominees means i won't do it the next time around. i'll try to create new ones every time we do this. which brings me to my next point: how often should we have these? i'm thinking either every year or every half a year. anybody care to share their opinion?

Well, do you want me to make a sub forum for the dota awards?

And also, when you have them, don't put a poll up, because that means people can create multiple accounts and vote for themselves. Make them reply to the thread saying who they vote for, so we know who they are.

And I think every year would be better, because it sounds better if it is annual, and it allows time for change and new people to come, post, and win awards.

um...okay then. i already made one thread...but you can move that or whatever. i think it would be nice to have anonymous votes in a poll, however i guess that it would be smarter to have people vote in a post. although it could cause tension...or something. but either way then we'll just post who we think should win. and then could you make the sub-forum? i'd appreciate it
