oh. well, here's the 'leaderboard' from after the first challenge (this is the second one)

james- 21 points
ez2dance(gphemsley)- 12 points

chas- 27 points
dizzy monkey- 12 points

or something like that.

there are no real times, because it'd be too hard to get the amount of time that people took to finish the cryptoquiz, so i settled for
"everybody's time is 2 minutes", so make your choices as if your time were two minutes. Very Happy

Hey, Das Mole, I have a question...

When you say "Take 2 secs of another persons time", do we get to chose who taht person is? Or is it random?

And also, if you have 20 choices, can you say tak 2 from mine (x5), add 2 to mine (x5), take 2 from someone's (x5), and add 2 to someone's (x5)?

you can choose who you take the stuff away from, and you can divide up your choices any way you want to, it doesn't have to be even.

I don't think you shoudl double the time...

And what time did GPHemsley get? And how come he had less choices than me?

-everybody's time was two minutes, including gphemsley.
-gphemsley got less choices than you because of the amount of different letters used in the cryptoquiz. james, 17 letters of the alphabet were used in yours, and 13 letters were used in gphemsley's. this was luck of the draw (or unluck), and i even said so in the pm. "this was luck of the draw, which is why your amount of choices and the level of difficulty may differ from that of others' quizzes" or something along those lines.
- i won't double the time, then, because chas would've gotten about three hundred points if i doubled it. in fact, i'll cut the amount of seconds in half and then that'll be your points. if it's a fraction, i'll round it up.

okay. i hope everything's all straightened out.
