Who votes that James should learn a programming language that supports 3D? So that the next game can be sort of 3D (like grim Fandango)

Yeah, learn it so we can have a better looking game next time. (No offense to anybody.)

But you can't really say that. Because how it looks would depend on how good the 3D artists are.

(And I'm not doing the 3D models, because I have tried 3D Studio Max, adn it is too hard!)

I am using some books I got off Amazon. They are good.

And when you say 3D modelling, what program do you want a tutorial for? (e.g. 3D Studio Max, lightwave etc.)?

I don't think 3d looks better than 2d at all... just compare the screeshots from the Sam&Max sequel with the concept art... note that the concept art is 1000 times better...

Yeah, but if we go and try to make some money in a few years, then we will probably have to go with the flow and switch to 3D if we want anyone to buy our games, seeing as there will probably be loads.

I'm positive to 3D. Sure, I REALLY love the good ol' 2D games, but gamers today like games who look a bit "spiced-up". And we gotta think of the gamers!

Only attempt 3D when you can pull off a 2D one successfully
