I dont wanna alarm you or anything, it's just, DOTA already exists! or at least the name does...almost...it's called day of the alien (no s)
just see for yourself
And guess what? It's based, nay, it has DOTT written all over it! (possibly because the characters are DOTT characters...and the backgrounds are from DOTT too, so basicly he ripped the whole thing, added some additional characters and backgrounds, and made his own story. So that's what i wanted to tell you guys, I hope this doesnt mean we have to change the name or anything...

I found and played that game a few days ago while searching for "Day of The Aliens" on Google.

But, it was quite bad, so i found there was nothign to worry about - it is just a quick fan creation. :p

It has some characters from DOTT slidding round, and then the gameplay is a platform shooter. Not very good.

well, I think the page is down. I once had a similar problem. My first "real" website, which was the predecessor to my current crappy under-construction website, named YAMIFS, for Yet Another Monkey Island Fan Site, had some competition from a better website, YAMIS. Yet Another Monkey Island Site. It took me a long time to try and come up with a 100% original website name, but I did it. My website's crap, but it's name is 100% original. The Melee Island PTA. Well, perhaps not 100% original, as LucasArts came up with it (The Secret of Monkey Island, Melee Island, men of low moral fibre (pirates)), but I've checked google several times, and no one else is using it...
