i think everybody, or most of the people here, are in school...somewhere...at some stage of school...either way, as we all know (maybe not all...), school is coming to an end! for me, it's done tomorrow. i only need to go from 7:45 to 9:15. take one final exam, and then i'm done for the year! some people have already finished, i know, but just wondering, how are everybody else's finals and stuff going? here's my stuff...

english
didn't take it yet. have the final tomorrow. i don't even know what my grade in the class is w/o the final.

biology
don't know the score yet. i should check tomorrow, i'll tell you then.

geometry
got an 89 on the final. had an 89 fourth quarter, and a 91 third quarter. my final grade was an 89.6 for the semester, but it got bumped to a 90 b/c i put in a lot of effort and do well on everything, so i get a "super a" on my final report card! hooray!

health
piece of cake. i got a 90 on it, and my final semester grade was a 93.2.

band
a+.

history
took it today, hope i did well! i do really crappily in this class, i believe i may have had a 67 or something fourth quarter, and at least a 70 third quarter. i needed an 83.8 on the final to get a c in the class...so let's hope!

french
probably got an a+, had an a+ in the class, i'll wind up w/an a+ for my final semester grade.

...everybody else?

really? so everybody has different stuff...hm.

in the u.s., school starts on like august 28th, and then you go, you get a thanksgiving break (about 5 days), you go back for about a month, get winter break (2-2 and a half weeks), come back, go for about two months, get spring break (1 week), and come back for about another two months, and get summer break (3 months). then you start all over again.

guess what, everyone? i just got my grades yesterday...

and i passed in world history!!! Very HappyVery HappyVery Happy

i got a c in english and world history, a b in biology, and an a in french, health, band, and geometry. now i never have to take world history in my life again!

and my current cumulative, all year, all-high-school-long gpa is a 4.84 Smile

and since english and world history are honors classes, they get bumped up to a b, so they count as 4's when they're factored into my gpa. and the same w/biology. it gets counted as an a instead. and geometry gets counted as a "super-a", or a 6 on my gpa. french, unfortunately, isn't a 6, b/c apparently it's not counted as honors, but that's okay.
