It's a single player mod called Das Roboss. It's 3 levels which should give you about an hour of gameplay. Try it - it's pretty good.

It's using the HL2 enemies I think, but I don't think it merges with the HL2 story.

Arghhh just played 5-10 mins of it and i feel sick, i havent played hl2 for soo long, that im not used to it! I don't really like the map, its quite confusing *bloats*
