The DOTA forums are back, but I had to upgrade to a new blank version, then restore the old database over it. This means there are no MODs for the moment, though the tables are still there in the database.

The restoration is from March 29th, so not much was lost.

Please continue posting... I imagine the forums will survive, but there will probably be some problems. It's already been noticed that all old polls have doubled up each option.

Oh and also, we'll be updating to phpBB 3 soon anyway.

Hmm... the 10000 posts thread is still there, but according to the front page we only have 9700 :S

OK, I worked it out.

When my host restored the database, for some reason all of the General DOTA discussion forum posts got moved into the myg0t forum, which didn't get deleted. I renamed this and moved it to it;s right place. But, the post count on that forum is still at 1 thread and 32 posts, so I guess that's why the overall forum post count is so low. Maybe I'll count them all up and edit the database myself.

Also, I've just reuploaded all images. All avatars, smilies and ranks should now work.

The points are still in the database, but we don't have the mod installed at the moment. We will probably start using posts instead of points (e.g. at 500 posts you get a glow or something)
