If you have the problem, where when you log in or log off, it takes you to the Lycos site, then follow these steps:
1) When you have just logged in and been taken to the Lycos site, leave it there.
2) In the adress bar of that window, type in this site (members.lycos.co.uk/yyyjday/forum)
If you have any other problems, just post them in this thread. _________________

i am still unable to post most of the time. i can't make new threads, i can rarely post replies, and it always says invalid session, and i have no idea what this means, and if i did, i'm sure i could probably do something about it. i don't know why it keeps popping up, but i'm sick of it!!! it's total b.s. _________________ puzzle designer. moderator.

I think it could be something to do with the fact that we are hosting it off Lycos, which is very busy.
But I have just got the site dota.adventuredevelopers.com, so soon I will move the whole database over there, and it will stop a lot of errors! _________________

I have just got something that fixes the problem about it redirecting you when you log in . And I should be able to get the forums on the AdventureDevelopers site up soon _________________

Invalid Session has nothing to do with Lycos. (Read my other post) But Lycos is giving errors during certain pages...
Quote: | Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webadmin-uk@lycos-europe.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log. |
They're very annoying, but they're usually resolved with a refresh or two. _________________ Gordon P. Hemsley

Yes, that error has suddenly started coming up in teh past 2 days. I have no idea why. I will try contacting Lycos about it, and see what they say. _________________

yeah, i had that start happening to me yesterday, i think. in fact, it's happened about 20 times or so! but it's easily fixed with a hit of the refresh button, like gphemsley said. _________________ puzzle designer. moderator.

Well, this doesn't apply anymore seeing as we don't use Lycos. So those login errors won't appear, and neither (hopefully) with internal server errors. So I'll lock this topic, and un-sticky it. If you have any problems concerning stuff in here, create a new topic. _________________
