Second Annual DOTA Awards Nominations

Well, here we are. It is now officially time to start the nomination process for the 2nd Annual DOTA Awards...This year's theme (as you can see in the forum name) is being in the LAP OF LUXURY. Don't worry, the awards actually pertain to it, and so will the end-of-awards forum special, don't miss it!

Nominations will end April 29th, and the nominees will be announced on April 30th. From there, you will have a week to vote for the people you want to win.

But before I get ahead of myself, here is how nominations work:

I will post the categories in here for the 15 awards. If you want to, you may then e-mail me the people you think should be nominated, and send me a PM as well. I will describe the format beneath the categories. And here they are w/their descriptions...

Nicest User - Pick the users you think are nicest.
Meanest User - Pick the users you think are meanest, you don't have to be serious w/this one.
Biggest Gamer - The person that in your opinion, plays the most video/computer games.
Most Musically-Inclined User - The person that has the best taste in music
Nearest-to-deaf User - The person that has the worst taste in music
Most Sensible-Chic User - The person you think probably has the best fashion sense
Best n00b - Your favorite "newbie" of the year, a.k.a. someone that has been registered for a year or less.
Best Oldie - Your favorite "oldie" of the year, a.k.a. someone that has been registered for over a year.
Biggest Spammer - The person who spams the most.
Most Focused User - The person least likely to spam.
Best Moderator - Your favorite moderator, in terms of moderation skill
Smartest User - The user you think is the smartest
Biggest Doofus - The person you think is the dumbest/the biggest goof
Most Captivating User - The pesron that you think has the most interesting posts/is the best conversationalist
Best DOTA-er - Your favorite DOTA forum-goer of the last year


OK, you nominate like this:

Send me a list of all the categories listed in the order that I put them up with a maximum of four users listed after the category name. You don't have to put up to four, but try your best to put at least two. You may not list yourself, I will ignore it if you do.

E-mail me your nominations at Garchie90@aol.com. In the subject of the e-mail, please put your username here at the DOTA Forums as well as "Second Annual DOTA Awards Nominations". You must then send me a PM here at the forums with the title as your email address that you used to send me the nominations, so I can be sure it was you. If I don't get a PM and E-mail from you, the nominations will not be counted, I have to have both an e-mail and a PM.

So there you have it. Oh, and as for how I decide who gets nominated, the three people with the most nominations get nominated. If two people are tied for the third spot in nomination, they both make it. If three or more people are tied for the third spot in nomination, there will be only two nominees for that category.
