How about a game somthing like Roller Coaster Tycoon, but base it more on theme parks and have some phunky features.
As there's alot of stuff which isn't on RCT which could be put into a new game and make it totally different
Just an idea. _________________ Aly McInulty

Actually, I think we already had an idea for the next game...I don't know if we're still using it? _________________ puzzle designer. moderator.

I think RollerCoaster Tycoon does the theme park thing really well, and it would take years and years of development to match just that. It would be better to explore game types/ideas which are original.
But thanks for the idea _________________

I agree with james, games like RCT takes ages to make and what about making all those different features and drawing out all the detail. If you wanna make a game start of nice and simple. _________________ Screw you suckers!!!! |

That's a good general guideline...but not always necessarily the best advice. For the general public, most people don't have the passion and determination to stick with a project if they don't get near-immediate results. I have been working on a project that has been underway for a year and has yet to release a playable demo. Or a non-playable demo for that matter. I'm currently building the dialog system, then I have to rebuild all the GUIs (which should take < month). So the project could easily be up to two years before a playable demo is released. But like I said, most people don't have that kind of passion. _________________ Signature:
