Hurray for me! I can finally do Tucked Planche
Only a few seconds though, but at least I can do it now
Tip for anyone who can't do them yet: Just keep practicing, I've been trying on and off for 3-4 months and can finally do them. Practice makes perfect _________________ Moderator, Developer, Free Running newbie |

Nice one
Also another tip - when you are down on your knees put your hands in the middle of your shins, not infront of them, because despite what it may feel like you won't be able to balance with them infront of you.
And if you have trouble getting into it like that, try crouching down with just your feet touching the floor and your hands slightly infront, then lean forwards slowly until your weight is over your hands.
Btw can you L-seat? _________________

I just tried them, I can do them but my arms immediately start shaking and I collapse to the floor I'll get them soon though, beastskills said it wasn't a very hard trick to master, I can only do them with my hands flat on the floor, but I'll try with just the fingertips and tell you how it went _________________ Moderator, Developer, Free Running newbie |

I wouldn't do the fingertips one if i were you it's pointless You should try tucked plance and then push your legs through into the L-seat, but lean back a load. |

When you are doing the tucked planche try to keep your arms as straight as possible (this makes is harder but is best exercise for the real planches) and also bring your hips as high as possible.
You should also do pseudo pushups aswell as regular ones to build up the shoulder strength required for a full planche. To do these bring your hands back as far as you can during the regular pushup (it will make it a lot harder). _________________

I cannot do tucked planche to save my life - I have no idea why...
Btw, well done, steve.
P.S. If you came to london that would be great - don't come just for me, though. _________________ Face plant |
