Lawl, the fact that you have to bump topics until you're on 10,999 posts is lame. This forum is dying - it needs something new plz.

The survivor thing was good, just needed more people and less people going out early.

The point of this forum is that it's about DOTA, so when DOTA is released there'll be more stuff to talk about. There's also a lot of stuff going on to do with the development of the game, and anything about that is posting in the hidden forum. Those are the main two purposes of the forum... we're not trying to turn it into a general off topic forum.

Also, I only bumped one topic.

People will find out about it when links are posted on other sites, like www.adventuregamers.com underground, and www.advernturedevelopers.com etc.. There's no point posting frequent updates here in an attempt to keep people checking the site all the time until the game is released. It would be better to just use it for the game team to communicate, then when the game is released there will be more action here.

I don't thiknk so. Anyone can use the forum (Das Mole has problems with MSN Messenger for example), and not everyone has to be online at the same time to participate in a forum, so that's Messenger down. As for email, that's aimed at conversations between two people.

The good thing about a forum is that multiple people can come together, and post their views in an ordered form, and have them archived. That's the reason they were created.
