With a lot of help from GPHemsley, I have got it working so that now the news on the site shows the forum news. It also has latest 5 pieces of news, or a news archive...

Update

I used a slightly modded version of the same system to get Steve's Diary taken from the forums, so you can comment on it. There is a new forum called "Steve's diary". See it there or on the site.
